The Way I See
If I could change one thing about me,
It would be the way I see.
The way I see the clouds in the sky,
And the way I see the birds that fly.
The way the sun shines yellow and bright,
And also the size of the moon at night.
The way my parents look when they yell,
Faces red and sweaty as well.
If I could change one thing about me,
It would be the way I see.
Flowers won’t come in green and blue,
And people won’t look just old or new.
Instead of just the bad I see,
I will see the good in me.
Wrinkles and marks will no longer be,
The parts that make us ugly.
If I could change one thing about me,
It would be the way I see.
