A Walk

I went upon the streets

As of yesterday

Looking at nothing

Yet seeing everything.

I went upon the streets

And saw the dog that

Barked incessantly

And the old man reading

The paper quietly.

I went upon the streets

And saw the wind

Shake hands with a tree

And a man riding a

Bike effortlessly.

I went upon the streets

And saw a puddle in the road,

My own reflection in it.

I realized that in these simple things

Is contained life's summit.

These little things that the

Busy world can sometimes

Never even see yet al of these

Things made the world utterly

Perfect to me.
