Waking up to you

As the morning sun shines into our bed, I stretch my arm out and trace my fingers through your fiery red hair

You grumble at me, then roll your body close to mine and nestle your head into my chest.  I kiss your forehead and pull the blankets up to your chin.

We drift back off to sleep, I am in utter bliss to be holding the love I’ve only ever dreamed of in my arms as I feel your heart beating close to mine 💕

Short but sweet.
