A vow of silence

I took a vow of silence,
I've decided not to speak.
I've created a philosophy,
speaking makes one weak.

I gave up on my words,
so I refuse to let them out,
so they climbed upon my thoughts,
and sat beside my doubts.

Words don't mean anything,
because others don't hear.
So they purchase a few bandages,
and cover up their ears.

It's very easy to listen,
but ever harder to speak.
So I took this vow of silence,
cause speaking makes one weak.
