Violence No More

Our lives end the day we become silent about things that matter

We say all lives matter, but why do we kill each other?

We march for freedom, but gain nothing

We want justice, but kill in retaliation

Why hate when we can love?

Why kill when we can revive?

Why cry when we can laugh?

Hate can't drive out hate; only love can do that

Darkness can't drive out darkness; only light can do that

Violence will get us nowhere

In order to change our world we must first change ourselves
