A Victim to Save

Victim's Body's Response to Abuse:

Voice please speak and help me out!

"I can't when your head is full of doubts."

Then hands reach out for my voice has disappeared!

"We can't when we are shaking in complete and utter fear."

What am I to do when I can't even speak?

I guess it's time to try out my own feet.

Feet move somewhere, anywhere new!

"We can't we're frozen and don't know what to do."

Brain everything now relies on you; You're the last one!

"I can't so please stop this battle just can't be won."

How to change someone's life:

Hug someone safe and tight in your arms.

Let them know no one can cause them harm.

When you're with them lend them your ear

and show them they have nothing left to fear.

If they stop to stare because they are about to cry

hold them close but never ask them why.

Be the person that will always be around

so your new founded friend won't ever hit the ground.

Never look back and judge them by their past

but make a friendship that will always last.
