The Valley of the Lost

Push, pull, scream, and cry
Let the yells overwhelm - send you out and in - The fight begins:
Now!

Be faster. Try harder.
Be better.
Be the best.
It pulls at you, bringing you down- drowning in the abyss.

Don’t let it win!

Fight, Fight, Fight,
- for your first breath, for your last cry-
for the moments of silence.

Taste the world, feel the lights,
wander and wonder –
let the sights overwhelm you
-lose it- whatever “it” is.

Keep moving forward, don’t let it touch you.

Let it all out, but breath it back in.
Soak up the poison like a dry sponge,
Dripping – marvelous, rich, full – your life just slips away.

Stop, Stop,
STOP!
Don’t go, never let go!
Where are you going?

What do you see in the valley of the lost?

Let the secrets overwhelm you
-for a moment you see it all
and then in a whisper, a wish,
it’s gone
and again you are plunged into darkness!
