Utilitarian Value of Innocent Lives

At what price do the evil deserve to die,

If an evil was taken, would it be fair to take an innocent life

It may be proportionate, but satisfaction is not fair,

When the life of the good can not guaranteed be spared.

The heinous do not deserve to live,

But the righteous do not deserve to die,

And in a system where I am not assured,

I can’t morally say it is right.

However if it is a risk you are willing to take,

Ask yourself if you would willingly put your life at stake,

And even if you would, would you unwillingly give up your choice,

To let someone else decide your fate, let someone else take your voice?
