Useless ...

Ecclesiastes 1:14 

14 I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and indeed, all is vanity and grasping for the wind.

 

Just flip the switch …

 

Fixtures hanging from the ceiling … power stops at the wall

Hanging there to be used but who will flip the switch

Daylight rising on the outside but the curtain is still drawn

Darkness shimmers on … who developed plans like this

 

All seems useless unless used … now staring in the wind

Eyes are closed in a limited view … trying to catch some fish

Life goes on in self-imposed darkness … in existence’s clinch

If we can’t see all must be fine … almost like a stolen kiss
