Used

Who says

They cannot feel emotion

After the embrace

You may offer

A kind, almost paternal, comforting

And warm gesture

Holding on to a love

To protect them from falling into the void

Despite their lack of heart

Their masterfully sculpted body will

Turn dead cold as you realise

You’re useless.

There are many more like you

You are not the only one

Yet the embrace lingers in your memory

Forever.
