unrequited love

Does your breath catch at the sight of me?

Do you search my expressions for some subtelty?

Do you hope for things which you cannot confess?

Do you whisper words softly, inaudibly?

Do you wish for more but defend less?

Does your tired pout turn into a grin at my sight?

Stay silent no longer like a concealing night,

for if you hunger for love you must fight
