Unleash the Mane

My personality is quiet,

But my wild mane says that’s lame,

I used to try to hide it,

And learned it cannot be tamed,

Frizzy, crinkled, curly mess,

There is barely a way to describe,

Poofy, tangled, craziness,

This hair has its own unique vibe

Years and years of knots and cussing

These curls fly loose, wild, and free,

After all this tiring fussing,

I realized they are the beautiful in me.
