Unity
you hate it
because you don't understand it
but just open up your eyes
and see, we plead
your acts of terror and violence
do nothing to silence
the screams of agony
but all around people are gathering
to pray, to hope, to love,
the one thing you couldn't
ever dream of
too caught up in your own demise
took it out on others
taking pleasure in the cries
you're sick, twisted and such a fool
to think your acts
would do anything but unite
the coming together
of people tonight
