Undecided

Location

My mom was undecided

On what she wanted to do

Instead of picking a profession

She kept trying something new.

She wanted to pursue acting

Every little girl’s dream

But in the world of show business

Few stars find success and gleam.

She attempted to work behind the camera

To be a director or a writer

She soon discovered she hated them all

And studied to be a graphic designer.

After amassing quite a large paper pile

She realized it was not worthwhile

Drawing for eight hours a day

Was not her kind of life style.

In the end she chose a job

That dealt with people, not art

But to this day she uses her skills

To piece together kids’ crafting parts.
