Unconventional

Some heroes fight tooth and claw,

Others use a blade.

Some fight with gadgets of all kinds,

Others stand weaponless, unafraid.

My favorite vigilante doesn’t wield a knife,

He doesn’t use his wits or luck.

He doesn’t shoot arrows or bullets,

His battles are fought with hockey pucks.

You’ll never see him play fair,

Or give a thought to the rules.

You’d better not take Pain 101,

If he offers the course at your school.

This kid fights with anything he can find,

With hockey sticks and a bat.

You’ll never see his face through his mask,

But he’ll turn the foot clan into doormats.

He’s not your average good guy,

And he’s not your regular friend.

But when you need a defender,

He’ll have your back until the end.

He’ll fight for New York City,

His friends and his girl at his side.

If you’re looking for help, just call out—

It’s not like Casey Jones to hide.
