Unbudged Body

My curves are not a sin

Nor can this society be praised

The body you say I made

Is the body that was given to me at a tender age

I wanted to look like you

Or maybe that forgotten name on the cover of the magazine

But my image got distorted

By the unrecognized beauty I saw within me

I accepted her presence, and fell completely in love

This is who I am

And I will not budge
