Two-Sight

Whisper, they whisper in my ear

I smile, hand waving to to a friend

Another whisper, but dear friend cannot hear

A classroom, teacher greets me

More whispers, watching unseen shadows

I sit, work and mingle

A scream, pain, their anguish unbearable

No one hears, calmly I work

Another, then another and another

Nerves in sharp tingle, utensil gripped

A face, I see their face without a head's raise

I feel the emotion, I feel everything

I know you're there, dear unseen I do

So wicked and cruel the intentions, why?

Only mortal is what I am

A curse?

A gift?

Teacher calls

I smile,answer

Inside I fight the insanity

And the unseen scream
