Two figures walk a trailOn
Two figures walk a trail
On the shore of a shining ocean sunset
Its shimmer lies in the smile of its beholder
Warm as her touch
Soft as her words
Vibrant as her laugh
She is my sun, my light, my muse
She helped me walk on the heat-soaked sand
Lifting me up when my feet were burned
Teaching me how to swim in the waves
Warning me of the sharks in the depths
I love her more than anything
And I know she feels the same
Though we are separated now by miles of highway
I speak to her as if she is close
As close as the rays of sunlight
On the dark surface of the sea's surface
