The winged bird tries to fly

But it is too fat to escalate

Instead it stays on the ground wondering

What it is like to ascend above its friends

Instead the unpretentious turkey feeds from humans

Knowing that one day its friends will kill you

So, the turkey lives its life trying to accomplish something,

but even though it tries to make a change it never will.

so live your life to the fullest knowing you probably won’t make a change

but maybe…

just maybe…

you will make a difference.
