The Truth Behind Love

Love is like an ocean.

Love is like the sun.

Drowning in a person.

Feeling warm about someone.

Love is like a winter day.

Love is like warm sheets.

Curling up and cuddling.

Being soft and feeling safe.

Love is like a day at the beach.

Love is like a bag of popcorn.

Running and laughter.

Getting warm and heating up.

Love is like a kid.

Love is like a dog.

Youthful and playful.

Feels fuzzy and is adorable.

Love gets tired.

Love gets old.

Then love is like a broken car.

Love is like an elderly dog.

Love is like a rotten banana.

Love is like a tired heartbeat.

Creaking and then breaking down.

Panting and then falling apart.

Looking dark and then getting trashed.

Slowing down and then stopping.

Love feels amazing when you have someone.

But when they leave you,

Love can truly destroy you.

Love is like the whole world.

A huge presence,

But when its gone no one will even know we were here.
