the truth behind the gray lines

Tick tock the hands on the clock spins

I did 12 years in the same pin

The warrant gives me a piece of paper

Then tell me to go explore the world for what it worth

Family throw me a welcome home party

Or is it a really a go away party?

I look at the paper for direction out in this cold world

All it has on it is writing  for surviving the last 12

but no direction

Then I was told if you want something out of life

I have I have to serve another four years

But this time I am going to be “borrowing money”

Or am I just really selling my soul to become successful

The truth behind the gray lines is the truth

  never exist

Uh ohh I have a bigger warrant now and he mean businesses

With a sign that said welcome to college
