Once upon a time there was a Prince

Many tales of him but most were just myths 

The truth of the prince should soon be unveiled

For the tale of him saving the Princess was never real

 

The Princess never needed saving

The life she had was pretty amazing

Shes the one who saved the Prince

From a series of unfortuante events

 

It started off when he was getting drunk at a pub

Said the wrong thing and got jumped by some thugs

The princess found the Prince dripping in blood 

He was screaming in pain, so she gave him some bud

The prince feeling better said his farewells

He was off to slay a dragon somewhere near hell

 

Soon he arrived, his trip went pretty well

He knew they were there because of the smell 

The smell of ashes and smoke lingered the air

For the dragon breathed fire which made the Prince scared

 

The prince lost to the dragon and got locked in the tower

He fought his way out and was about to be devoured

Luckily for him, the Princess followed him there

She slayed the dragon with her hands bare

 

The Prince knew that then and forever

He would love the Princess through whatever they endevered

They soon arrived home telling all their love story

 But no one believed it, they gave the Prince all the glory

 

The Princess and Prince let the people tell lies

For the truth didnt matter when they looked into each others eyes

Now in different era, the truth deserves to be told

For I am the Princess and yes I'm very old
