The Trenches

We sit hear covered in mud, blood, and were wet

Fighting a war that makes no sense

Were “allegedly” supposed to provide a defense

But how does the death of Franz Ferdinand cause the whole world to fret

We charge across no man’s land everyday

all those men gone because it’s so dangerous

1 foot gained on are side, it’s all so outrageous

By the end everyone soul becomes gray

Day in day out this is what war is all about

No matter how many losses they keep sending use back

Now I must prepare for another attack

Its to late for me to bailout

Up the latter I go with my rifle in hand

Hopefully I make it through another stand
