The Treasure for Which I Search

What little time to care, to change;

Oh how much time is tossed and turned away

For the pursuit of glory and fame;

Am I any different?

To this I say "Nay."

Though heroes of old, enriched in their tales,

From numerous lands each do they hail,

Who seek out the treasures of tales they know well.

For what treasure search I?

To save others condemned to die.

Through hope, through medicine, whatever it be,

I seek to help those in great, great need.

And for this reason do I stride forward

And for this reason does my heart beat onward.
