trapped love

You say that you know me,

But you don’t know the real me

We talked in years past,

But it never did last

I trusted you, when all you did was use me

I heard the banshee, but did not foresee she was screaming for me

I should’ve left when I had the chance

But you had me stuck in your trance

You told me to hold on to you for dear life

Little did I know the longer I held on to you, the more of my life you stole
