The darkness formed a box in my mind,

Trapping my thoughts and never letting me see the light.

I'm trapped within my own mind,

And that's the worst kind of torture,

Because there's no escaping your own thoughts.

Maybe I'm crazy,

Or maybe I'm just lost,

But being confused the way I am...

It obscures any possible escape,

Especially when darkness is all you see.

My thoughts confine me,

Haunt my every moment,

Almost like mischevious little ghosts,

Running amok in my head.

They cause trouble everywhere I go,

And I wish I could run away,

Just escape it all,

But I cant.....

....Because it's all in my mind.
