Traitor

Silent grumbles and blank stares

Seeing stars when you stand

Feeling empty twenty four seven

Shaking legs and a shaky hand

Never feeling full but never wanting to

Liking the way you look

At least you thought you would

But now you write calories in a book

Always accepting meals and candy

Only to spit it out later

When eating a full meal

You only feel like a traitor

You want to be perfect

Letting out the food you once held

Saying you were fine on the outside

But that voice in your mind only yelled
