Training Wheels

I will have to give up these training wheels
Find balance, work, and pay bills.
Still the very thought gives me chills;
that one day I will trade my books to be a good cook,
or trade Spalding for adventures across the world,
like spreading the word or giving to the poor.
One day I'll give up these training wheels
and make adjustments for business deals.
I wont laugh at my mistakes like gag reels,
but really look at how to do better.
I'll write a reccomendation letter
for every boy or girl to achieve greater.
Yes, One day I'll give up these trainig wheels
Until then, I'll laugh when I fall.
I'll be hooked on a book
I'll ball hard till I fall
I'll give hope to a child with just one look.
A simple smile when they're in denail.
I'll give up these training wheels
I just hope it will be awhile
