it blinked.

the front head-lights turned on,
the engine roared as steam on its top stirred alive.
each cart's door slammed shut and the insides heated.
the wheels began, rolling with gradual increase.
the trail beneath shook underneath
it hooted once
and screamed screamed twice
tearing across the roads, uncertain in destination's name.
noise befall as blacken
tunnel near
it wasn't silence; but its feeling of ignorance
the wheels ran with cries to stop, hold off, turn.
pressure suffocated its body
direction was lost.

with its lost of control
confusion of logic
tunnel near
but with its beating and its heating
it grew bigger
it pounded
pounding and pounding
its wheels went.

and in its approximate
in its pass with present
collision occurred
its doors flinged open
its steam shrieked and its control blew off
confused; was station reached?
in its disarm, pieces multiplied.
of the bits and its attachments
the crash made its fall.

steam slowed down eventually dissapearing
settling down the engine dies
its structure smashed, unhealing
surroundings take no toll
simply as if it never influenced
even with its destruction
answer of impairment lacked there of
collision occurred.
