Torso
You wrapped your arms around a hollow torso
The trunk of a worn out skeletal tree deep in forgotten wood
I watched a mental heart monitor skip a single beat
The mystery of such an unknown feeling escalated too quickly
My roots grew numb as I felt your limbs embrace mine
How can I call you to revisit this place of solemn shade
When I know you belong to the fullness of leaves
That are not my own.
