Today is a new day!

I wake up to the sun  beaming through  my window  

Shades of  orange, yellow and  red

Begging me to  rise and shine shaking the sleep  from my head

I yawn and  stretch taking a deep  breath

Smelling  the  bacon and coffee I hit the  ground  running

Out in the sun, birds  chirping, people hustling, chatting  laughing

One  still moment of the  day as I enjoy breakfast soaking in a moment of peace

DANG I am  late ... running off to class!!!
