Times don't change

I realized how much I have grown to be

When I was a girl I remember needing a

Grown-up because I was unease of

Getting that ornamental apple hanging

On that abundant tree.  Now I am tall as

I can be.  To the point of my guiding

parents looking up on

me.

They seem Shrinking. I tease.

But I really do miss Their hugs carrying me up with love.

Passing by the local park, where I had my

First date, now filled with the so-called

new generation for now.  I then pass the beach

where I was Dumped

Now I say goodbye, to my state.

Going to college Out of state.

But how fast time goes...

So it’s it great to acknowledge the change.

Oh, but It’s true what they say the times will never change.
