I wish that I could travel back in time

I could go see history for myself

I could visit Kings when they’re in their prime

Maybe I would peek at Shakespere’s bookshelf

Going back in time could be really fun

Maybe I would be a friend to King Tut

Columbus and I could sail in the sun

Or I could just sit in an ancient hut

If I could travel back in time, Id like

To talk to Einstein and pick his brain

I could go and see the very first kite

I could relive history anywhere

What if I didn’t travel back in time

Maybe my life would be just as sublime
