Time Alive

I will never forget the first time you laughed,

Or the first time your eyes held mine.

Silence in my wishes to hold you

Wanting to be all that you need.

If paintings were to reflect the colors

Of a soul without end,

Your life never only has one,

But the same light that binds me to you.

There is a goodness in the way you are,

Bringing me to believe that we could be.

Your heart may be the only one I wish to seek

Time will only tell what this will bring.
