Oh how I wish to turn back time

Re-write the old and make it new

Change the lives of many including my own

How I could go back and make things right

It could make such an amazing sight

You and I happy together, living each day of our lives together with no care in the world

You in my arms with an unbreakable bond

With those sweet lips and divine smile of yours that I could claim with a sweet kiss

Just the sight of you delights me, your laughter forever bringing me happiness

But as I write this I know it can no longer be

As much as I try it can never be

I missed my chance

Time has moved on so I can never re-write it

As I see you in good spirits and carefree

In the hands of another

I see that same smile and laughter

And to me that is all that matters.
