Time

Location

Time fell through the window pane

Wanting to fall soft like rain

Caught was the memory red

A rose petal found, too late dead

Time drowned beneath the frozen lake

Without a second thought, no longer awake

Lost in the maze of a beating heart

Hanging to tendrils of a woven web, falling apart

Time awoke in a forgotten place

Unseen was the task ahead to face

Searched for was a memory dear

Frozen in dark, held by fear

Time felt nothing, for fear had been torn

Holding on to what is left of life, hand full of thorns

Sorrow builds great walls standing tall

Rising again time does so, omly to fall
