Tie my shoes

That pretty bow you used to know
Was nothing but a show
that one little strand
Is Grasping the past
Attempting to make something last
I try to retie
But all I can feel is knots
My head starts to think of plots
Ill stare and wonder
When did the string begin to tumble
With tears of dismay
I'll smile and say
Your nothing but an untied shoe.
