Thunderstorm

Dear self,

Right now, life is coming at you like a wildfire

Or an iceberg in the way of a ship

But I wanted to let you know

That a wildfire can not beat a thunderstorm,

As long as there is rain.

And an iceberg

Can not break a ship

If the ship changes its direction.

So when life throws the hardest thing you’ve ever been through

Right in your face,

Let the rain pour

And let the thunder rage,

But never let your spark go out.
