THUG

Many people say that every picture speaks a thousand words

although a picture never truly encompasses the entire moment shared in the photograph

it showcases the necessity of humans voices

by revealing imperfections that are in the nicest filters

meaning without people's voices the picture merely represents a missed opportunity

the pictures show how individuals suffer from their own fear of speaking out for their rights

people believe someone else will take care of the hate given to people of color

but, without a gust of wind the water lays flat, there will be no wave

without the first fall of a pebble from a mountain, there will be no avalanche

without people speaking up for their rights, there will be no change

the hate given by individuals must be revealed to the people

without a voice, life will only have been a picture

and I believe that each individual is able to speak more than a thousand words about their human rights

join the conversation and believe in a better tomorrow.
