The Throw of My Life
Over thousands of throws,
feet rise like a sand castle.
Built from nothing
into a unique something.
only to be thrown again
by the tides of time.
washed away in a cleansing
to be rebuilt formidable
with a sense of understanding.
As the moon makes its motion
the castle gets demandingly thrown
just until peace brisks the horizon.
Fortifying the defenses
outside and within the temple walls
the sand castle crystallizes its crevices.
armed and ready at the drum's roar,
able to withstand a throw once more.
