A Thousand Languages

Thu, 12/29/2016 - 14:18 -- Destcop

Her eyes spoke continually,

But he refused to listen.

Looking anywhere

Anywhere but those eyes

Those eyes that spoke a thousand languages.

Those eyes that would drown his own

If he dared to look.

And he did.

As he looked,

Her eyes suddenly translated one of those languages

Into something he could understand

As she spoke slowly

“It’s not just coffee when it’s with her.”

He kissed her.

“I know.”
