Thank You, and Again

Pt.1

Thank you,

for the rambunctious laughter

for making my ears rumble and ring

with the words you tell, and the stories you speak of

 You inspire,

You make me the desire, the need

Even your touch could make the earth quake.

pt. 2

Thank you, again.

As the memories begin flickering through my head

All the times that you missed me and dissed me,

Your pride was a boulder

Who'd think I'd be the grain of sand to knock it down

Not even water could extinguish your flame

Impeccable.

Or so we thought.

Don't forget that your strongest attribute is also

your weakest fault

Reconcile with yourself.

then,

choose wisely.
