thank you

although i thank you

thank you very much for

making me feel, making me be a crime scene.

didn’t know i needed your apology

you thought will make things better

when i believe has made me lost

in words, in trust, all within me

you know, i always thank you for showing the world to me.

in that same sea of love i was drowning in before

is what now keeps me afloat.

you think they care for me, they don’t.

not enough to believe

to believe what i refuse to accept

they’ll look after you.

but then, the last thing they’ll do is pull the curtain of night upon you

but you, you’re always with me. in my head, in my eyes, in my sleep.

all inside me.
