Teacher, Teacher

Location

Teacher, teacher your curriculum is whack,

you give me so many assignments I have panic attacks.

Teacher, teacher you treat us like fools,

you talk down to us like we’re in preschool.

Teacher, teacher how does this relate to the real world?

These integrals and chemistry equations have my head in a swirl.

Teacher, teacher why do you grade so harshly?

Can’t I get some credit, even some partially?

Teacher, teacher don’t you realize that school doesn’t determine my fate?

Just ask Jane Austen, Mark Twain, or even Bill Gates.

Teacher, teacher I know I was late and I don’t mean disrespect,

but it was because of all your assignments that I overslept.

Teacher, teacher can’t you see?

What all this stress is doing to me.
