Talking To The Tiger

Tiger, Tiger your light shines bright

in the darkness of the night.

What God you ask dare make you?

The same who made the little lamb too?

Is God evil? Can He be?

Is that the question you're asking me?

Is he not the one who meddles?

The one who tests and pushes and peddles?

God cannot sin, He is the light.

So Tiger, though you burn so bright,

You cannot outshine your Holy Maker,

The Lord of all, the Great Earth Shaker.

He is both lion and holy lamb,

The Father and the Great I Am.

He made both creatures great and small

and was pleased by them all.

Tiger, Tiger your light shines bright

In the Darkness of the night,

But your God burns brighter still

The lamb who framed you with His will.
