Take the Lead

Location

When in life,

In times of strife,

One must be a leader.

Whether it sounds its command in a roar or a squeak,

Whether it executes with the hand of the strong or the mind of the weak,

The leader must take the reigns.

A leader in the classroom and on the field,

A leader who knows when to stop, go, and yield,

Is the leader I try to be.

In character, poise, and respect,

In every aspect,

I aim to be,

A leader
