Take a Deep Breath

Take a deep breath.

Tense your muscles one section at a time,

Hold it.

Hold it.

Let it go, feel the stress of everyday life

Drain from your body.

Take a deep breath.

Shut your eyes and open your mind.

Picture the soft greens of Spring,

The crisp oranges of  Autumn and

The sparkling ivories of Winter.

Simple beauties flash behind your

Eyelids with vibrant color.

Take a deep breath.

Hear the gentle commotion around you.

People are living.  Moving.

Breathing.

Just like you.

Going through their everyday

Lives, just like you.

Take a deep breath.

Bring your hands to your face,

Feel the arch of your brow and

Curves of your cheeks.

You are here, you are now.

You exist for a purpose.

Life is good.

Take a deep breath.
