syncing #becauseiloveyou

we met on a cold day during the fall last year

we bumped into each other on accident and i spilt my hot tea

you threw down your things and helped me saying "I'm sorry dear"

suddenly my stomach and heart felt funny

my thoughts went running

and then we dispersed

the next time i saw you was at school

who knew you would fit in with the cool

calm and collected students

meanwhile i was the anxious and awkward student who sat by themselves in class

but sometimes you'd smile at me when making a pass

to the next period

again those sparks went off

it was like a plug being connected to an outlet

that spark and then it's gone until the next time

which was on graduation day at nine

they called out your name and for some reason i smiled really big

i gobbled you up with my eyes like a pig

your hair looked really messy but it suited you

your truth and virtue

shined through

after graduation we walked hand in hand to a restaurant

i kept my mouth shut so i wouldn't sound ignorant

while eating we continuosly made eye contact

as if somehow we could save up flashbacks

for future memories

you took my hand and brought to your mouth

and licked the whipped cream off without a doubt

again those sparks went off and i almost had a word for why

why whenever i saw you my head and soul floated towards the sky

why we always finished each others sentences and

would meet up under weird circumstances

i think you felt it too and its simply because/love/you

and this whole time our souls have been intertwined and syncing
