Swing Of Memories

She was just a little girl

Not a care in the world

Swinging on her swing of memories

Wind through hair

Sun kissing her skin

Never thought this feeling would end

Now shes 19

in a world full of stress

Had her heart ripped from her chest

Wishing she could simply get away

Forget the love of yesterday

And swing the hurt away

Where did her youth go?

When did peace leave?

At least she will always have

That swing of memories

Wind to blow her worries away

Sun to kiss the pain away
