The sun is bright and loud

He argues for your attention 

He burns to be seen

to be felt

A star is fleeting and hopeful 

it doesn’t care if you miss your chance

it will keep flying without you

the sun is also a star

A star waiting to combust

That engulfing light shall consume much more than it was meant to

The sun shall eat and eat and eat until all other stars have died

Stars can’t live forever 

Hopeful they may be,
